2 Brats and a Veggie Dog

We spent our anniversary in perfect farm-fashion: weeding the garden, chasing chickens around the yard, gazing at sheep, and watching a movie with two sleeping dogs at our feet.  We ate brats (veggie dog for me!) and potato salad and Joey dragged the puppy around the kitchen floor on a dishtowel.  It wasn't anything fancy, but it was perfectly simple.  Hopefully we can spend the rest of our anniversaries and milestones in the same way: on a little piece of land, with farm animals and good food (sometimes they are one and the same), with dogs, and movies, and the little things we love.
